Internet scammers have evolved, and their tactics are a lot more sophisticated than the Nigerian email scams of the past. If you’re exploring the world of crypto online, you may come across websites that offer attractive sounding returns. Always be skeptical and do your due diligence into offerings. Ensure your crypto is safe and your passwords protected.
Here are some precautions:
- Create a long password (16 characters at least) and use mixed letters and characters: upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Activate Two-factor authentication (see how-to here).
- If you get an email from us, be sure that it comes from email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, any other email will not be from us and maybe a phishing attempt.
